Deputy Head of Retail Banking

Fantastic opportunity with a very reputable bank in Qatar based at their Head office in Doha. Looking for the "Best of Breed" as the right hand man to the Head of Retail Banking with a competitive salary package.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide all strategic and advisory support to the Head of Retail Banking in Managing and Improving all Retail Banking Unit.
- Design, develop and implement marketing plan, strategies, policies and procedure for developing Retail Banking business of the Bank, in coordination with the Head of Retail Banking.
- Management of branches and ensures their smooth operations and that they maintain high level of customer service by delivery of quality service to customers.
- Assigns business and revenue targets to Branches and monitors their performance, in consultation with the Head of Retail banking.
- Instigate new business, Develop new and innovative products and Banking services and keeps track of competitors products and services.
- Oversees marketing and sales of all products and services
- Managing a sales infrastructure such as branch network and central sales to achieve the desired result s and exceed targets.
- Improve Customer service, distribution and delivery channels with new technologies including electronic and e Banking.
- Ensures adequate management information reports are periodically submitted to the Management to keep them informed on revenue generation, business growth, market share etc.
- Improving financial performance, managing risk and optimizing output of resources.
- Assess analyze, define, recommend implement and follow up market intelligence, marketing plans and retail Banking strategy.

Requirements

- University degree in Banking/ Business Administration, pref. with MBA
- Minimum 15 - 20 years experience in Retail Banking at least 8 years in Senior Management level out of which 4 years functioning in Gulf (preferable)
- Excellent innovative, marketing, communication, organizing and leadership skills
- Self-confidence to deal effectively at the highest level
- Team player with the ability to motivate and lead
