The Role


Salary 20,000QAR to 24,000QAR

One of the regions main Maintenance Management companies seeks a Deputy Operations Manager. Duties will include but mot limited to the following:

• Coordinates between Operations’ teams for improved performance
• Checks correspondences (Incoming and outgoing) related to Operations
• Studies and summaries all contracts and verifies their compliance by the Project Engineers
• Verifies and corrects the maintenance reports forwarded to the clients
• Proposes reports enhancement
• Establishes a contract audit system (schedule, visits, reports and follow-up)
• Coordinates with the Project Engineers the accomplishment of special projects requested by the Client (renovation, new installation, …)
• Establishes and prepares training for the Operations personnel
• Performs the assigned training
• Performs monitoring control sessions on Operations teams according to the planning
• Analyses Operations procedures and proposes enhancement
• Administrates the Project Manuals
• Triggers and induces corrective and preventive actions for continual improvement
• Applies the company’s quality procedures and helps updating them
• Follows up the maintenance requests in exceptional cases
• Follows up complaints from the clients
• Gets clients evaluation of the Operations work and results by making visits, phone calls,….
• Ensures the proper implementation of the monitoring observation
• Ensures the implementation of the quality procedures and suggests improvements
• Is responsible for developing business both vertically and horizontally (more business within the projects’ portfolio or new projects)
• Assists in developing project proposals, including costing and plans

• Can absorb complex technical information and communicate effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Full range of strategic management and leadership skills.
• Is able to assess and evaluate risk and to understand the implications of new technologies.
• Demonstrates clear leadership skills and the ability to influence and persuade.
• Takes initiative to keep both own and subordinate skills up to date and to maintain awareness of developments in the industry.
• Highly proficient in English is essential whilst Arabic would be desirable.
