The RoleThe RoleTo provide the necessary support to the Project Manager, including managing the operational delivery of the Master Project Plan as well as the Systems-related activities of the Parking Management Program. Lead staff for the PMC in the supervision and management of the Parking Operator’s delivery of the Central Parking Management Systems (CPMS). Assist the Project Manager with the: - Supervision of Parking Needs Assessment surveys, schedule, review and monitoring of pre and post roll-out plan into sectors; - Develop, review and supervision of the Stage Implementation Plan; - Monitor and review the Master Project Plan in conjunction with the Project Control Engineer. The DPM/SE is to act as the lead staff for the Central Parking Management during the execution of the 3 Phases of its implementation and to liaise with key Department staff in all dealings with the authority to make final decisions where the PM is not available over the telephone, by text messages or emails. The DPM/SE shall be responsible for proposing recommendations to the PM for all Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing of deployable equipment on the PMP. |
RequirementsRequirementsA degree in Transportation/Systems Engineering from a reputable university and/or license from an engineering profession at institute as a minimum level of qualification. The DPM/SE shall have at least 10 years project management and systems engineering experience in transportation tolling, implementation of systems-driven charges, etc., a portion of which must have dealt directly with the scoping (and/or development), development supervision, implementation, and commissioning of transport toll management systems with reporting modules similar in nature to those of this Contract. Past experience shall include successfully completing a previous position as a System Engineer or Project Manager as above described on a project of similar type and scope of work as this Contract. |
