Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our company seeks candidates for an expected USG project aimed at Monitoring and Evaluation systems in Afghanistan. The overall objective of the project is to develop and implement a system that will enable the mission to effectively use performance information in decision-making and fulfill its performance monitoring, evaluation, reporting and information dissemination requirements across its group of activities. This position will be based in Afghanistan.

The Deputy Project Manager (DPM) will be responsible for day-to-day management of the task order, including work plans, staffing, and gathering information and data for reporting or analysis as required by the award. The DPM will prepare reports and will provide recommendations on the direction of implementation to Project Manager or USG as needed. The DPM is also responsible for overseeing and managing logistics in order to support implementation. The DPM must also fulfill the role as Project Manager when the Project Manager is absent.

Requirements

•Additional requirements include at least 7 years of international development experience; and at least 3 years of experience in conflict or post-conflict environments.
•Academic Degree: Minimum of BS/BA related to work being performed or equivalent
•Must be proficient in English speaking, reading and writing skills.
