Design & Content Specialist (x2) - eCommerce - Retail Divisional Office, Dubai

Al-Futtaim's Retail Division holds a stable of world class brands operating in buoyant markets with huge growth prospects. Some of our brands are Marks & Spencer, Toys R Us, and IKEA as well as Robinsons with a range of smaller brands selected for their appeal to the markets in which we operate. We currently operate our Retail outlets across the Middle East and in South East Asia.

We have enjoyed phenomenal success throughout the UAE, Egypt and GCC countries. We are in the final stages of outline planning for massive growth and need to prepare for the next phase of this program.

Based in our Dubai Office; we now have an opportunity for a Design & Content Specialist to join the team. This role is responsible for the for providing design creative, graphical content and online content management.

The responsibilities are also including:
- Work with the Online Manager / Project Manager on the creation of project briefs and take overall responsibility for delivery against those briefs.
- Ensure that briefs are prioritised according to business need and that resources are available to meet timelines.
- Ensure that resource allocation meets the development needs of individual team members.
- Establish Ensure effective regular communication within the Web Design & Content Team to ensure that projects are progressing, that any issues are resolved and that progress is being communicated to stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Produce Web Graphic Design content with assured quality and accuracy.
- Graphic Design on a wide range of assignments from logo and key art thru to trailers and videos.
- Supervise content executives to conceive, write and deliver compelling, keyword-rich, actionable content for a range of mediums - online, digital and mobile - targeted as B2C audiences.
- Review written content that speaks to various client-specific personas and market segments; creating a user-friendly experience for the reader.
- Responsible of managing content creation and optimization process end-to-end from initial concept to strategy to research, approvals, fact-checking, key wording, editing and final proofing.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in Digital Art or Design, Advertising, Illustration, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in an ad agency preferably within an eCommerce organization.
- Adobe Certification (ACA) in (Digital Design Curriculum, Visual Design Curriculum and Digital Video Curriculum).
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Audition, etc.)
- Previous experience in working coordinating directly with the eCommerce business units.
- Hands on clients account management.
- Hands on Integrated Change Control.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing English. Arabic would be an advantage.
- Preferably has previous supervisory / auditing experience.
- Solid understanding of marketing, media and technology.
- Excellent presentation & time management skills with delivery skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established deadlines.
- Attentive to details.
