Design Engineer – Civil

Job description / Role

This position is required for a leading construction organization for its construction project based in Abu Dhabi.

We are looking for an Design Engineer - Civil with experience in designing security Systems.

Compensation & Benefits: TAX FREE Base Salary, Accommodation, Transport, Medical, Catering or Food,Flights (4 return flights a year (1 after every 3 month shift)) and etc.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the civil detailed design process from commencement to delivery.

2. Manages and supervises design consultants.

3. Manages the writing of technical specifications, scope of works, RFP, ATP documents for: civil infrastructure and other areas.

4. Oversees the verification of detailed design packages ensuring compliance with international oil and gas company standards/requirements.

5. Provides specialist support to internal clients.

6. Provides civil engineering design solutions for civil design related problems within the design team of the Professional Services division and for the design consultants.

Requirements

Requirements:

1. Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering design is essential.

2. Membership of a recognized professional body; ICE, PE, is essential.

3. Good working knowledge and experience in civil design combined with a knowledge and appreciation of electrical and mechanical elements.

4. Good knowledge and experience of International codes and norms is a must.
