Employment: Full Time

Introduction:
We have an opportunity in Noida for a Design Engineer/ Senior Design Engineer - Wet Utilities.

Responsibilities:
- Designing water, wastewater and storm networks for multi-scale and multi-purpose developments
- Preparation of demand/flow calculations for water and wastewater networks.
- Designing gravity and pressure networks including preparation of hydraulic statements, pipe sizing, steady state and transient analysis, plans, layouts etc.
- Support the successful delivery of high quality projects on time and to budgets
- Carry out high quality discipline designs to the relevant standards and authority requirements, from concept to tender
- Conduct required checks and reviews of own teams designs
- Understand the contract and scope of project deliverables
- Supervise, coordinate and support Engineers and CAD Technicians
- Research and review design options for both technical and economic impact
- Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies
- Assist with discipline project submittals and No Objection Certificates (NOC) process
- Evaluate contractor submittals and write required reports
- Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met within the design
- Stay updated with relevant technical developments within the discipline
- Support line manager in planning resource needs and escalate as required if there are resource concerns
- Provide feedback to line manager on the teams performance and development requirements
- In conjunction with line manager identify, assess and manage technical project risk
- Provide regular project status updates, including risks or concerns, to line manager
- Contribute to the delivery of the business unit strategy
- Support the companies approach to sustainability
- Attend and contribute in team and project meetings
- Lead by example and ensure QMS and Project Lifecycle compliance across team and projects
- Input into the work of the Technical Working Group (TWG)
- Complete accurate timesheets by set deadline
- Feedback on all business development opportunities

Requirements

Requirements:
- B.E /B.Tech Civil or equivalent discipline with minimum 3 years experience in infrastructure design at all levels (concept, preliminary, detail design and tender documents).
- Experience in designing water, wastewater and storm networks for multi-scale and multi-purpose developments
- Experience in designing gravity and pressure networks including preparation of hydraulic statements, pipe sizing, steady state and transient analysis, plans, layouts etc.
- Experience in hydraulic modelling using softwares such as Sewer gems , SewerCAD, InfoWorks, WINDES etc.
- STP design experience is preferable.
- Fully conversant with relevant international codes and standards.
- Member or working towards associated Professional body membership
- Experience and proven ability to supervise projects and project team
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office
- Experience of associated discipline software
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
