FAMCO is an ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 14001:2004 certified company.We are looking to recruit a Design & Engineering Manager to head all functions of the Design Dept while reporting to the National Sales Manager. He is a member of the FAMCO Office Solutions Management Team, and represents the organisation for all aspects of customer support and Principal supply. The holder must be technically skilled, maintain contact and control of all aspects of the design department, to ensure synergy within the different departments. This new function will ensure all projects drawings, presentations, 3D Renders, costings and quotations are delivered to the customer within the time frame set by the sales team or national sales manager. The current territories are Dubai and Abu Dhabi, but will require direct input to expand the role into the region. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe selected candidate will have the following skills and qualifications and; *Diploma in Civil / Degree or Relevant Engineering Degree. *Excellent written and verbal communication *Minimum Experience of 15 years cross over industry experience with a minimum of 5 years in a Design Management Role *Able to work on ACAD/Sketchup/3D Visualization ability and working knowledge of color and design principles *High Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, Photoshop, AOC 4.8.3. (Advanced Order Configurator), PCon 6.2, Meco Gen 2007, Ms Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Ability to balance design with operational needs and budget objectives. * Ability to execute multiple designs under tight time deadlines. * Knowledge of interiors architectural details and specifications for construction documents. * Ability to identify and resolve problems at an early stage. |
