Design & Estimation Engineer - AV & Security - Panatech - Al Futtaim Electronics - Abu Dhabi

Al Futtaim Electronics as one of the largest business houses in the Gulf is the sole distributor for many brands such as Panasonic, Toshiba, Aftron, Sanyo in Gulf region. Some of the products range from state-of-the-art notebook computers, mobile, digital copiers, fax machines, consumer electronics and consumer durables including projections TVs, DVD players and home appliances.

The Design & Estimation Engineer will be responsible for supporting the frontline account managers in providing efficient designs and effective estimations for Security and AV products and solutions including Projectors & Professional display. The job holder's role will be across UAE territory and will require visiting customer sites. The job holder will also be required to source required 3rd party software and hardware in order to fulfil customer requirements.

* Prepare product proposals in line with customer requirements forAV & Security products and solutions including Projectors & Professional display panels.
* Analyse client requirements discuss same with consultants and provide solutions to fit in Panasonic products.
* Perform effective product demonstrations and product training to System Integrators and Value Added Resellers.
* Provide post sales installation support for AV & Security products and solutions.
* Meet the KPIs as applicable from time to time.

Requirements

* A Engineering degree / diploma in Electrical / Low voltage / Communication.
* 6 + years experience in technical - Design and Estimation of Security and professional AV products and solutions including Projectors & Professional display panels and with thorough knowledge of these industries.
* Certifications pertaining to the job.
* Customer service, design & estimation skills.
* Native Arabic language speaker preferred.
