Job description / Role
Provides direction and management of all MEP related issues in accordance with contractual obligations. The MEP Manager is responsible for the support of other involved Manager of the project to meet project goals and objectives. Plan, organize and supervise the works of the MEP team members to ensure all work was performed within the parameters of the project schedule. Review the MEP Services and Infrastructure drawings, reports and specifications submitted by Design Consultants; Assess and seek clarification on constructability during early design stages; Ensure the Design Consultants incorporates the comments raised from previous stages; Liaise with MEP Engineering team in the office for engineering support and control; Review alternatives to the design concept submitted by the Design Consultants; Coordinate report and defend all engineering ideas internally; Progree monitoring of related designs in collaboration with the design time schedule.
Requirements
Degree in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; 10 to 12 years related work experience with at least 4 years in a comparable position; knowledge and expertise in design of large scale MEP systems and infrastructure; fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills; GCC experience on a large interdisciplinary projects is a must; experience in all kind of high valued projects like Pump Station Projects, Waste Water Projects, etc.
