Design Manager - Cairo Festival City - AFGRE - Cairo, Egypt

Spanning 3 million square metres Cairo Festival City is a visionary mixed use urban community strategically located just 15 minutes from Cairo International Airport, along the Cairo Ring Road. Cairo Festival City features Egypt's first indoor-outdoor retail and entertainment resort combined with luxury residential communities, prime office spaces, internationally renowned hotels, schools and an automotive park all set within a lush landscaped environment.

We are currently looking to recruit a Design Manager to manage the design process through different project stages to ensure compliance of project designs with time, cost and quality requirements for the assigned projects and proper achievement of their project vision, your job responsibilities are including & not limited to:

* Control the design process and different consultants through the pre-concept, concept, scheme & detailed design stages including full design for the assigned projects by collaboration of concerned parties.
* Collaborate  coordination meeting with consultants for multidisciplinary design aspects and avoid design errors.
* Present the general approach of the layout, design and construction; and control consultant's deliverables for necessary documents to obtain required statutory approvals.
* Prepare design brief, technical aspects for requests for proposals (RFP's), studies for user requirements, technical aspects, site conditions, planning, design and building in use etc. as necessary; and given appraisals and recommendations for assigned projects.

Requirements

As a Design Manager, you need to demonstrate the following Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

* Minimum Qualifications: B.Sc. in Architecture.

* Minimum Experience: 10 years of experience with at least 3 years in Design Management position.

* Job Specific Skills:
- Arabic & English proficiency is a must.
- Professional skills in MS office, AutoCAD & Digital imagining software.

* Behavioural Competencies:
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Self-motivated with high leadership, organizational & communication skills.
- High committed and up to the company's code of ethics.
