The RoleThe RoleSalary AED 16 – 25k pm + benefits Our client, a leading building facade access solution and turnkey provider, is looking for a Design Manager with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in mechanical design and management. You will be responsible for leading a team of Junior and Senior Designers and guiding your team technically in the design process, managing the design tasks in time and to the intended design requirements, managing multiple projects from concept to manufacturing drawings, preparing Technical Submittals and coordinating for approvals, with assistance from your senior designers. |
RequirementsRequirementsTo qualify you will possess a Masters or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, have a minimum of 10 years of design and management experience and related industry know-how and experience in Building Maintenance Units (BMUs). You must have knowledge and experience in mechanics, drives & controls, machine elements, AutoCAD, solid works or Auto Desk (3D), usage of MS excel calculators and Staad Pro knowledge is an added advantage. You should also know quality concepts related to design and manufacturing and have excellent design concepts presentation capability. You must possess excellent inter-personal communication skills, be organised, a self starter, team player and have a problem solving attitude.
