Design Manager - Infrastructure

KEO International Consultants is a highly ranked and award winning planning, architecture, engineering and project and construction management firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

We are seeking a dynamic Design Manager Infrastructure to join a team of professionals in our rapidly expanding Project Management and Construction Management Division.

Requirements

The Design Manager - Infrastructure will have the overall responsibility for the progress of the design development in accordance with the Project Management and Construction Management Scope of Services.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
- Proven ability in leading and managing a team with regard to infrastructure design work through all Concept, Preliminary and Final Design stages on a large mixed-use development project.
- Ensure a high quality service is delivered throughout the Project, whilst maintaining minimum standards in accordance with the Project Management scope of services.
- Evaluate and Report on Technical Tender Submittals.
- Advise the client on all matters pertaining to Programming, Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Working Drawings, Tender Documents, Tender Submittals and Evaluation.
- Monitor the executions, administrations and performance of the Design Development.
- You will be responsible for Workshops, Progress Meetings and Design Management meetings and will be required to establish the methodology for ensuring the production of complete and approved design, tender and contract documentation. These should be in compliance with the approved Master Schedule prepared by the Program Management Team.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and time management skills
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 12 years post-graduate experience.
- Masters qualifications and knowledge of British and American design standards is considered favorable.
- Prior experience in the Gulf Region would be advantageous.
