Job description / Role
Major multi-disciplinary consultancy.
Based in Doha, Qatar.
Bi-lingual Arabic and English preferred.
Our client is a major engineering consultancy with an excellent reputation in the Qatar market.
Due to several new project awards and ongoing growth, a requirement exists for a Design Manager from an architecture background to join its team based in Doha.
The successful candidate will get the opportunity to various large scale building projects, such as high rise towers, warehouses and many more projects for a prestigious client in Doha.
Requirements
In order to be considered for this position, the successful candidate must demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
- Degree qualified (or equivalent due to visa restrictions) in Architecture or relevant related discipline
- Accreditation by a professional body, such as the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) is highly desirable but not essential
- A proven track record working in Architecture with career progression into Design Management
- Previous experience managing the design of large scale projects
- Proven and stable track record working with international design firms and / or multi-disciplinary Architecture and Engineering consultancies
- Previous experience working in the international markets is desirable but not essential. Large scale project exposure however is mandatory
