Design Manager/Project Manager

Charterhouse is partnering with a leading fit out contractor working with luxury brands around the world. Our client is instrumental in the design, manufacture and fit out of retail stores and airports with the highest quality furnishings on the market.

This position requires a Design Manager / Project Manager to oversee the design team alongside project managing the interior fit outs on site. This is an integral role within the organisation working to tight deadlines and requires someone with onsite project management experience.

The design team is well established and self-sufficient therefore you will not need to micro manage although you will assist with design problems and issues that may arise on site and come up with suitable resolutions.

Requirements

The successful candidate should be a qualified Interior Architect or Interior Designer with experience of managing a design team. Due to the nature of this role, it is essential you are flexible with regard to working hours as, dependent upon workload, you may be required to work on the weekend.
