Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Leading International Engineering consultancy have an established operation in the Middle East, having designed and delivered landmark build and infrastructure projects in the region over the last 30 years.
Currently they are looking for a Project Manager to be Client facing and have previous Project Manager / Internal Design Management experience and have a good understanding across a number of disciplines within the Built Environment.

Typical responsibilities include:
·agreeing project objectives
·representing this organisation's interest
·organising the various professional people working on a project
·risk assessment
·making sure that all the aims of the project are met
·making sure the quality standards are met
·using the latest IT to keep track of people and progress
·monitoring Sub-Consultants to ensure guidelines are maintained
·Financial Control of Projects
 
Depending on the project, responsibilities can cover all aspects from the design stage through to completion and handover to the client. Our Project managers lead by example through implementation of the in-house Project Management template.

Requirements

This professional will need to be degree qualified, preferably with a bias towards our buildings disciplines (Structures, MEP, Facades or Fire & Life Safety). At least 5 years experience within the Building Engineering sector and at least 2 years experience within the field of Project Management / Internal Design Management. It is preferable that this professional be part of a professional or chartered body. A drivers licence is also required.

This individual will be based in the UAE/GCC at present with recent project delivery experience on largescale build projects.
