We are urgently recruiting talented individuals to fill our current vacancy for Designer Site Representative (Bridges) to work on our projects in Doha, Qatar.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Designer Site Representative (DSR) team required for this D&B project shall be responsible for supervision of the execution and completion of the Works and the remedying of defects in the Works to the extent that shall be necessary to permit the Designer to sign the various execution and post execution certificates and to permit the Designer to comply with the other provisions of the Contract
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
The specified design staff shall have as a minimum the qualifications and experience criteria stipulated below. Where Chartered Engineer (CEng), orProfessional Engineer (PE) qualification is stipulated, proof of the following is required.
(i) An internationally recognised accredited University degree accepted by CEng, PE or
PEng membership organization as a qualifying/exempting academic University degree qualification; and
(ii) Chartered/Professional Engineer status. Proof of current membership or registration in a recognized National professional engineering organizations acceptable to the Client as meeting the requirements of Chartered/Professional Engineer status.
The DSR-Bridges shall have specialised experience in the execution and supervision of Bridges.
Shall be qualified with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an internationally recognized accredited University plus minimum five (5) years Chartered
Engineer or Professional Engineer (PE) registration or other similar professional organizations accepted by the Authority. Have a minimum of 5 years experience in the supervision of large civil engineering projects with proven experience in supervision of earthworks and geotechnical aspects of the works including bridge foundations, reinforced soil, MSE, embankments, stability of earthworks with competency in making informed judgement and decisions on site.
Must have excellent communication and organizational skills and be fluent in English.
