Employment: Full Time

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Destination Consultant is the primary point of contact for the assignee during any assigned destination service and is responsible for service delivery as well as reporting on progress related to service delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/FUNCTIONS TASKS:

• Communicate effectively and efficiently to all customers, assignees and/or vendors (i.e. realtors) and manage expectations - always be proactive.
• Work with the Destination Coordinator to best understand the customer's scope of service and details on any new initiations.
• Contact the assignee and clearly explain the service to be provided and any related procedures and time lines.
• Clearly communicate who Move One is and our service capability in case the assignee may require further assistance.
• Verification of special needs, interests, or requirements with the assignee, before and during the service delivery, including establishing the 'Service Key'.
• Encourage the assignee to visit the Move One Expat Eye Guide and/or other supportive tools as a valuable pre-arrival resource.
• Plan and organize the most effective schedule to best suit the service requirements of the assignee.
• Create solutions for challenging requests and/or times that remain within the company's policies, procedures and budget.
• Maintain consistent contact with the assignee throughout the service.
• Provide excellent Customer Service to ensure customer issues are resolved.
• Identify and resolve client concerns quickly and efficiently - seek support immediately whenever necessary.
• Build strong relationships with all new assignees/customers acting with integrity, building trust and credibility and ensure personal attention.
• Demonstrate product/service knowledge to customers while building credibility.
• Represent the organization at client or assignee meetings, as required.
• Work closely with the Destination Coordinator and Junior Consultant, when applicable.
• Monitor and report all assignee feedback, further questions, concerns and results of each aspect of the scope of service.
• Keep up-to-date on leasing rules, issues, prices, neighborhoods and trends in the housing market.
• Maintain a strong understanding of utilities and set up agreements required for tenants to take on new leases and move into new properties.
• Understand the schooling curriculums and rules as to registering, testing, tuition and registration / application.
• Stay current and familiar with all expat living FAQs and ease the way for all assignees during the service delivery.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and awareness of their destination city by reading expat websites and publications.
• Record vital service related information in V3 daily by completing comments, statuses, time-tracker, costs, and other fields.
• Provide clear and timely updates and service reports to the Destination Coordinator or to any local Move One clients for whom they are providing services.
• Immediately notify the Destination Coordinator of any issues or challenges that may arise during a relocation service and document the issues/challenges in V3, including set service alerts.
• Assist with the creation or updates of the Move One Expat Eye Guide or welcome packets as an added value for incoming assignees.
• Assist with any surveys or requests for relocation related information for their destination.
• Assist other departments with any needs on relaying information to/from the assignee in regards to other services regarding the relocation process.
• Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignment.
• Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers
• Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
• Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years industry or customer service experience preferred.
• University degree
• Strong PC skills
• Inquisitiveness and eagerness to continuously develop self on destination city information
