Our client is an international property developer committed to creating the most premium commercial residential, leisure and industrial developments in international markets. Their aim is to become the largest premium real estate developer in the MENA region and of the top five globally.

JOB PURPOSE:

To lead and deliver all development activity within your scope of responsibility.

The objective is to envision, plan and deliver a real estate development with excellent design, the highest build quality on time and to budget, whilst minimising risk and realising the optimum profitability for the company and its financial partners.

KEY RESULT AREA:

Vision:

- Overall market and property type selection strategy
- Select the sub-markets within which to develop the acquisitions of new business and sites
- Identify new opportunities for development
- Establish the Concept & Strategy for the Real Estate Development
- Source and acquire new business
- Review deal summaries and providing recommendations to senior management
- Portfolio Management

Due Diligence:

- Due diligence to determine project feasibility
- Develop and create the Master Development Schedule
- Identify potential consultant and partner resources when required
- Obtain designs and costs
- Establish structures and funding for the project

Schematic

- Lead and manage all key components of development in line with the plan through tender, construction & operations
- Managing and overseeing the entitlement process
- Prepare periodic portfolio reports as required
- Review and approve all business plans
- Work as an asset team leader with other Centres for Excellence

Requirements


Requirements

- Degree educated
- Background in real estate development, backed up with a financial background with knowledge of feasibility studies, market research, risk analysis, conception, investment, mergers and acquisitions
- Proven track record in successfully developing mixed use developments projects with a value of not less than USD$10M
- Broad experience in managing all components of development activity
- Experience of working on mixed use development or working on 2 or more of the following development types: residential, office & commercial, retail, hospitality, industrial
- Experience in Risk Management on complex multi phase projects
- Financial acuity, able to read, analyze and interpret complex financial reports
- Experience of working internationally and with cultural teams, prior experience of the Middle East, North African and/or Asian Markets an advantage
