JOB DESCRIPTION:
Morgan McKinley is looking for a Travel Manager/ Business Development Manager/ Travel Sales Manager/ Business Travel Manager who will be involved in business generation, customer acquisition, lead follow-up and more. The key part of the role will be to build strong relationships with clients through innovative, transparent, dynamic and professional methods as well as cross selling to existing clients. To thrive in this position, you must have vast experience and knowledge in the airline, hotel, rental cars and holidays industry. You must be self-motivated and organised with the capacity to offer excellent customer services.

SALARY: DHS 18,000 - 25,000

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Thoroughly research and understand prospects products, competition, industry, marketing goals and objectives, overall business requirements
- Effectively meet (and exceed) sales targets
- Work closely with the account management team to ensure that each clients account manager is kept up-to-speed with all relevant details so that all clients receive a top quality, professional handover from business development to account management
- Represent my client at industry events when required and to represent the company and its products and services at all times in a professional and knowledgeable manner

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree covering travel, business or management will be preferable.
- Previous experience of client presentations, supplier negotiations, tender document responses.
- Valid driving license desirable but not essential
- Must have strong ability to use various automated travel technology tools including travel management reporting tools and self- booking tools.
- Good communication skills in English both verbally and written. Ability to communicate in other common languages in the region will be a plus.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Must be able to source the very best and the most cost effective worldwide routes booking all flights, rail, hotel and all ground products for your VIP client.
- A consultative approach with proven telesales or face to face sales experience.
- Able to work well under pressure and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work proactively to generate leads which includes cold calling and follow through to sale closing.
