Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This role provides Counseling guidance, and monitoring follow ups to Qatari National Graduates and identifies essential strategies to improve and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the National Graduate Development Program.

- Ensures the National Graduates, compliance with Qatargas National Graduate Development Program (NGDP) policy and procedures
- Ensure the lines compliance with competency standards, and the NGDP policy and procedure.
- Provides work direction and guidance to less-experienced coaches.
- Provides continuous counseling and follow ups to NG and manage their expectations and their progress and performance until they complete the NGDP successfully.
- Manages orientation and induction programs for new NG and trainees and provides adequate learning support to NG and Coaches and facilitate awareness programs as necessary.

Key Accountabilities
- Ensures that all NG have active Individual Development Plans (IDP), that meets QG NGDP policy and procedures with the right skills to meet the business needs and assures alignment of the individual career planning with the right target position and Salary Grade.
- Ensures that all NG have attended their quarterly counseling and reported feedbacks with concerns and outstanding issues that are hindering the learning and progress of the NG.
- Ensure that all trainees have an ITP and attending their quarterly counseling session.
- Analyze feedbacks resulted from counseling and during the review of progress review reports to identify concerning issues that would hinder the progress and development of the National Graduate, which should be reported and resolved with the line or with the NG within reasonable time.
- Support the Qatarization and National Development team in their communication and engagement activities with NG.
- Ensures that all assigned objectives and tasks, are completed on time.
- Facilitates the career development planning and counseling process; provides support for identifying skills, aptitudes, interests, values, accomplishments, career goals, and realistic opportunities, and for preparing development plans; orchestrates challenging assignments that build skills, knowledge, confidence and credibility; monitors alignment between success profiles and individual training/development plans.
- Monitor the accreditation schemes coordination between the professional institutions and the line and follow up on the coordination activities for any further progress, or issues to be handled to support maintaining the accreditation statues.
- Participates in the Companys Quality nationalization plan (Bi annual Qatarization meetings) to support in resolving and closing issues with required actions.

Requirements

- 10 years of developmental work experience, ideally within the Oil/Gas industry, including 3 years of experience in Coaching and Career Development Counseling. Familiarity with Professional Engineering Accreditation schemes and other accreditations is a plus.
- Bachelor degree in Human Resource Development or Education. Equivalent related degree in Engineering with 8 years of related experience background is preferred.
- Accredited Coaching Certification or equivalency is preferred.
