Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Ensure the efficient functioning of the company’s fleet of vehicles and any other vehicles which are allocated to him for maintenance. Ensure the perpetual availability of all equipment types and groups, whilst maintaining a first class service to customers.

• Preventative maintenance and repair works on all company owned and rental equipment within trade qualifications and / or experience
• Optimize the availability of all company owned and operated assets;
• Carry out planned and unplanned repairs to equipment within scope of trade qualifications and / or experience;
• Perform preventative maintenance servicing in accordance with current Preventative Maintenance Schedules; and
• Assist with other duties as directed by Management.

Requirements

• Technical trade qualifications (Diesel Mechanic) from a recognized training facility. (Trade Papers essential)
• Minimum of 5 years working in a similar role.
• Fluent in English, both written and oral.
• Ability to work in an international, dynamic and multicultural environment
• Proven ability to work in remote, arduous locations, or a clearly expressed commitment to do so for 12 months.

• Working experience with maintaining Field Power Generation Sets (up to and including 1400 KVA)
• Experience maintaining and repairing Manitou’s, JCB’s, Heavy Duty Forklifts, Truck Tractors & Trailers & heavy duty lifting equipment.
