Digital Asset Specialist - Retail Divisional Office, Dubai

Al-Futtaim's Retail Division holds a stable of world class brands operating in buoyant markets with huge growth prospects. Some of our brands are Marks & Spencer, Toys R Us, and IKEA as well as Robinsons with a range of smaller brands selected for their appeal to the markets in which we operate. We currently operate our Retail outlets across the Middle East and in South East Asia.

We have enjoyed phenomenal success throughout the UAE, Egypt and GCC countries. We are in the final stages of outline planning for massive growth and need to prepare for the next phase of this program.

The Digital Asset Manager is primarily responsible for managing the team of Digital Assets Executives. Including assets creation, loading, maintenance, backup, and training; responsible for photography, video production and processing of studio products reviews

Key Responsibilities of the role will be:
- Assisting the Digital Asset Manager in running the Digital Studio for eCommerce.
- Assisting the Digital Asset Manager in implementing workable, scalable DAM solutions for eCommerce retail as whole for:
- Automated creation of digital assets (360 view).
- Organizing digital assets.
- Manipulating digital assets (converting, merging, collating)
- Searching for a digital asset.
- Verifying the integrity of digital assets.
- Delivery and distribution of digital assets.
- Securing digital assets - including copyright protection mechanisms.
- Liaise with the eStores Trading Specialist and the Design & Content Specialist, to gather all advertisements & designs produced and catalogue them into the digital asset management library.
- Generation of Digital Assets as required by Brand Guideline.
- Day to day running and maintenance of digital asset library
- Managing and assisting Digital Asset Executives in creating, loading, organizing, renaming and logging all assets according to asset type, brand, and campaign.
- Work with 3rd party agency, production contacts and Design & Content Specialist to obtain new campaign elements and ensure all required formats are received.
- Generating products reviews and comparisons:
* Product analysis and script preparation in Ar and EN.
* Guiding the Sales Actor for video shooting.
* Publish to online store / dedicated channels

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in Digital Asset Management, Information Science, Information Systems, IT Management or business-equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Adobe Certification (ACA) is required in (Digital Design Curriculum, Visual Design Curriculum and Digital Video Curriculum.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Digital Asset Management within organization.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within Digital Studio.
- Must be able to quickly assess issues and react to changing circumstances and new information.
- Previous experience implementing and customizing DAM solutions, preferably including data migration and DAM integration with business systems.
- Master Level Adobe Suite CC (All products).
- Comprehensive knowledge of metadata principles and experience implementing multiple different metadata schema.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, including prioritizing and mutli-tasking while paying close attention to detail.
- Excellent command of English.
- Knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage.
- Must have previous supervisory/leadership experience.
- Experience with asset deduplication efforts is desired.
