Job Purpose:
The position sits within the Automotive Strategic Marketing team working as an assistant to the Digital Marketing Manager. This individual will focus on all aspects of the digital landscape and will play a vital role in various projects related to building the Automotive Groups online presence and supporting the individual Auto Business Units. This is a great opportunity for a digital marketing professional to progress and learn in a fast paced and growing organisation.

Description

* Manage the collation of content from around the business for Social Media & Web Content. As well as executing creative copy and messaging to increase candidate and client attraction and maximise brand awareness.
* Review performance of channels using Google Analytics and SYSOMOS, Interpreting analytics, testing and optimizing lead generating and reporting on results.
* Investigate opportunities and provide ideas for new and improvements to existing campaigns and platforms to drive digital marketing best practice and latest trends throughout the business.
* Assist in the development of a video content strategy to enhance engagement, build brand awareness and support the VSEO strategy.
* Lead the development; distribution and reporting of all email/sms campaigns with constant testing to maximise delivery, increase traffic, improve response rates and minimise unsubscribe and bounce rates.
* Build effective working relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external), to deliver sector leading campaigns and creative.
* Assist in conducting market research from a group level to assess consumer demand, brand positioning and consumer online behaviour.
* Aid in the development and growth of the business presence across social media channels, including, but not limited to blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, You Tube and Instragram.

Jon Context:

* With the constantly changing environment/consumer trends in the digital/online industry and its increasing impact on the marketing, branding and communication strategies. The Digital Marketing Executive needs to keep pace with the trends and have the expertise required to assist the Automotive Group and Business Units in the roll-out of the respective Digital/Online marketing Initiatives.
* Key stakeholder's that the incumbent will liaise with will include; GMASCO, EIT, Training, IT Vendors and External Consultants.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

* Minimum of 2 years in a Digital Marketing role AND/OR hold a relevant degree
* Delivered or been involved in web development projects
* Social CRM management experience
* Google analytics experience, basic level
* Medium/high level experience in Microsoft office applications

Minimum Experience:

* Minimum of 2 years in a Digital Marketing role AND/OR hold a relevant degree

Job-Specific Skills:

* Good analytical & data interpretation skills with experience in (GA) Google Analytics.
* Experience in digital marketing with a passion for new technologies and their marketing applications.
* Proven expertise in email marketing, social media, content marketing etc.
* Experience of updating websites using a content management system.
* Experience of working with digital agencies to brief and manage marketing campaigns.
* Effectively communicate within the team to ensure the team is integrated and well informed.
