Job description / Role
We’re searching for a leader for our Digital Marketing team. Our Manager, Digital Marketing is responsible for developing, managing and growing digital marketing business. The role requires an innovator, a trendsetter, a progressive thinker, who can form and execute digital marketing strategies to help our clients grow.
Lead strategy engagements using strategic planning models.
Develop strategic digital marketing plans that establish clients’ comprehensive online presence and integrate with their offline marketing programs.
Work closely with Strategic Accounts Group to develop integrated Accountable Campaigns featuring a strong digital marketing foundation and analytics-driven foundation.
Stay up-to-date on, and advise clients of, the latest trends in digital marketing.
Provide actionable, tactical solutions in social media, content development, mobile marketing, and online viral campaigns for both B2B and B2C clients.
Define program metrics, establish benchmarks and use industry-standard tools to measure and report website and social media analytics, derive relevant business insights and optimize the ongoing performance of clients’ digital programs.
Participate in the qualification of strategic prospects and lead business development activities for website development projects and digital programs.
Participate in defining project details and work with other area leaders to ensure a smooth client transition from strategy to execution.
Manage and mentor the day-to-day performance and career development of team members.
Identify and manage third-party vendors and contractors and evaluate new technologies and techniques for our clients on an ongoing basis.

Evaluate, build and maintain relationships in the local, regional and national online marketing, media, and vendor community.
Requirements
Desired Skills and Experience:
Degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related area of study.
Minimum of five years of marketing management experience focused on the development of strategic, digital communications programs.
Skilled in analyzing and interpreting analytics and research results and their business impact, and using the information to form marketing strategies, tactics and integrated program recommendations.
A solid understanding of developing social media programs, with specific knowledge in content development and digital PR.
Solid understanding of strategic marketing and planning.
Experience working in a digital firm, with knowledge of the firm’s business operations, policies and processes.
Successful track record of cultivating and winning new business in a digital marketing environment.
Excellent client-facing skills; a communications style and work style that engage the client collaboratively and responsively creating a positive “client experience.”
Proven track record in client service; demonstrated success in providing clients with on-strategy work and managing projects to on-time, on-budget completion.
Broad, up-to-date knowledge of traditional and online media with a strong understanding of marketing and the principles of advertising.
Excellent business and sales writing skills; experience writing briefs, proposals, strategy documents, communications plans and presentation talking points
