Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose of Job:
- To proactively drive forward digital marketing through the development and implementation of co-ordinated strategies across different digital platforms: Websites, social media networks, e-CRM and paid digital media
- To help making Beiersdorf s brands the most loved branding on the digital sphere in MENA
- Evaluating the effectiveness of and champion new digital marketing practices that will help deliver long term brand growth.

Principal Accountabilities/Main Tasks:
- Long term Consumer Communications Strategy Development and Delivery

To assist in developing and implement a coordinated cross sub- brand and master brand e- communication strategy that builds rich and engaging brand experiences and long term relationships so as to positively influence brand likeability, penetration and loyalty for BDF brands:
- Work on Beiersdorf brands' yearly digital strategy
- Responsible of the implementation according to the Blue Agenda guidelines
- Leverage the use of digital media to support the company's overall product and service strategy
- Continuously implementation of new digital modules, platforms, digital initiatives and best practices to keep Beiersdorf up-to-date
- Owned Media

Websites:
- Manage Beiersdorf brands websites (Beiersdorf-me.com; NIVEA-me.com, NIVEAMEN-me.com, NIVEA-ir.con, NIVEAMEN-ir.com, Labello-ME.com, 8xa-me.com)
- Follow up on regular website updates and integration of brand experiences
- Monitor Search Engine Optimization (SEO) activities of the Beiersdorf brands websites
- Activate ratings & reviews activities on NIVEA & NIVEA MEN websites
- Implementing the roll-out of brand websites

eCRM:
- Understanding NIVEA & NIVEA MEN database
- Work on activating the databases
- Administrate the reporting, analysis and data insight of the eCRM tool

Mobile:
- Assist in developing mobile strategy for Beiersdorf brands
- Ensuring the leverage of digital activity on mobile

Consumer Relations Management:
- Attend to consumer complaints and inquiries
- Generate monthly reports

Earned Media
- Implement Beiersdorf brands social media strategy, target and KPI's
- Follow communication pillars for content marketing in line with the brand attributes and audience interests
- Make sure that content is as per Beiersdorf's guidelines
- Work the distribution of content on social media platforms
- Assessing, analyzing and providing actionable insights to the brand team which can influence communication, product innovations and social communities requirements
- Continuous sharing of global best practice and social media landscape
- Work with social media listening tools

Project Management
- Implementing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and providing strategic recommendations to increase effectiveness of Beiersdorf content
- Help develop integrated media campaigns as well as implementing future directions made possible by emerging technology through continuously recommending new best practices which differentiate Beiersdorf from its competitors
- Perfectly manage projects and timelines
- Assess post campaign reports

KPIs & Monitoring
- Work on setting KPI's for Earned, Paid and owned media
- Follow up on KPI's
- Benchmarking digital activities against competitors
- Using analytical tools to track, monitor and optimize digital presence, segmentation, and campaigns based on historical performance

Knowledge Sharing & Innovation
- Share digital education with the Beiersdorf marketing team
- Sharing best practices with internal stakeholders, global team and local MENA offices
- Proactively suggest innovative technologies to the business

Internal and External Relationships
- Coordinate the relationship between Media/Digital agency and Beiersdorf Middle East
- Support in the production costs negotiations
- Monitoring the Scope of Work with the leading agencies

Requirements

- A Bachelor's in Business is a must preferably with a marketing concentration.
- 1 to 2 years experience within Media or Advertising industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Arabic is mandatory.

PC/IT:
- High proficiency in MS applications particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge in Google Analytics, Facebook advertising, Google Adwords is a plus
