Digital Media Coordinator

Job description / Role

The Digital Media Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance and optimisation of the website, social media networks and other digital platform management

Experience:
- Experience of digital media, specifically online site management and production.
- Experience of applying content guidelines, specifically in-line with local laws and cultures.
- Experience in blogging and working with CMS.
- Experience using graphic software, specifically proven Photoshop editing abilities.
- Experience of writing copy for specific brand styles.
- Knowledge and understanding of SEO and relevant tools.
- Knowledge and understanding of encoding, transcoding, formatting, production software.
- Demonstrated knowledge (and affinity) of cartoon brands preferred.

Requirements

- Computer literacy: experience with Mac and PC operating systems, Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Understanding of viral marketing techniques, web 2.0, RSS, twitter.
- Passionate about digital media.
- Keen attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
- Planning and organisational ability, ability to prioritise.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to build great working relationships across an organization and within a culturally diverse team environment.
- Creative and lateral thinking ability.
- Expert knowledge of content/media regulation in Arabia.
- Ability to work well within tight deadlines and under pressure, maintaining a professional and positive manner.
