Dining Room Supervisor (Arabic)

Job description / Role

To manage and supervise all front of house catering activities. To organize, set up and oversee the running of normal day to day running of camp mess hall, BBQ's and special function at camp or site when required.

• Ensures quality control and assurance of food service standards within the Mess Hall.
• Overseeing and ensuring high standard of food service is maintained during breakfast, lunch, and dinner and midnight meal.
• Implementation of SOP.
• Training and supervision of local nationals.
• Maintaining HSE standards across the front of house services.
• Manage visitor signing in sheet, and submit to camp Boss on daily base.
• Liaise with chefs on a daily basis in respect of mess hall activity.
• Inform people at mess hall of dress code.

Requirements

Qualifications:
• NVQ 3 in Hospitality supervision or equivalent

Skills:
• At least 5 years of proven experience as front of house supervisor in a multi-cultural setting in Europe or the Middle East
• Able to communicate at all levels of the organization
• Experienced in priority setting, decision-making and managing a team
• Customer focused with an eye for detail; always improving on standards
• Good understanding English, oral and written
• Able to communicate in Arabic written and oral
• Able to demonstrate good all round experience of providing high quality food and banqueting services
• Confident and business-like appearance
