Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The role is incorporated under Marketing function, working with e-Vision team; the role will work closely with the Senior Management to:
- Study OTT strategy, benchmarking with other competitors Regionally & Globally viz. Icflix, Netflix, Hulu etc.
- Maintain a solid understanding of the digital media market place and who the principal entities are that service the industry, including monitoring services that are being developed or have been deployed that target all types of users, no matter the access network or screen (e.g. PC, TV, Mobile, and Kiosk).
- Identify key markets & advise Management on the ideal positioning of eLife On amidst competitive dynamics & emerging markets.
- Develop regular thought leadership deliverables around growth strategies.
- Utilize existing network & technical infrastructure potential, craft product innovation ideas to enhance content, services & offerings for revenue generation.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Define OTT short term & long-term organizational strategic goals, identify business opportunities and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

Develop and implement companys overall OTT business model & strategy, including, but not limited to:
- Expansion of service in MENA Region & identify other potential markets
- Identifying potential local, regional & global partnerships
- Services & offerings enhancements & new services development & deployment.
- Optimum resource allocation
- Devise scoreboards to evaluate OTT marketing campaigns, measuring both quantitative & qualitative impacts of OTT strategies.

- Develop business objectives through innovation, creative ideas & strategic planning with a company-wide view of business processes, application functionality, opportunities and cost efficiency.
- Develop content management solutions & service delivery, internal methodologies & best practices for content syndication, management & aggregation.
- Identify diversified & smart offerings/products that provide value to the customer & drive revenue growth.
- Identify incremental innovation ideas & devise business plans & strategies accordingly.
- Explore digital content opportunities in emerging markets, B2B content syndication with potential & identify optimal strategic positioning based on in-depth analysis of market supply & demand.
- Define commercial & financial model at Group level and align the content roadmap with key partners.
- Obtain a thorough understanding of all of the Etisalat networks and the technologies implemented over those networks and more specifically what the touch points/peering points are with the Etisalat network and any ISP or Telco that wishes to leverage the technologies and services that are deployed and available via these networks.
- Work closely with the various Etisalat OpCos & potential partners so as to support the development of the business cases for their market place as it pertains to the launching of new content offerings.
- Maintain excellent relationship with regional & global technology providers, content providers & business partners.
- Coordinate with the various technical departments/engineering teams at Etisalat and the IT managers so as to maintain an up-to-date network assessment for OTT service requirements, which will help to optimize the creation of new service offerings and partnerships to support the same.
- Conduct periodical competitive analysis of advanced features of the company with the best practice operators in the region & globally to identify areas of improvement.

Requirements

- Graduate Of Communication or Media
- Essential skills - Report writing skills.
- Good computer skills, including PowerPoint.
- Candidate will be proficient in English.
- 10+ years of experience in the development of services and delivery of content via different types of delivery networks, including, but not limited to, CATV, Satellite, and the Internet.
- Additional competencies of 5+ years in developing digital media strategies and product development that leverages IP-networked would be preferred.
- Demonstrated history of defining great customer experiences & translating them into revenue for the Company.
