Job description / Role
I am looking to appoint a senior Construction Claims Professional to my clients new operation in Muscat. The role requires a seasoned professional with construction claims management and dispute resolution services. The role will service an existing major account and project while looking to expand the service offering and fee generation in the region as the long term strategy. This role will lead to MD of the business unit.
The role would cover;
• Review, report on issues such as laws governing contracts.
• Government procurement, arbitration and taxation.
• Reviewing contracts with clients, negotiate terms and oversee their execution.
• Overview of all appointments and fee earning.
• Overview of all claims and dispute cases.
Requirements
You will have 15-20 years industry experience with 10 years in claims and dispute resolution.
You should be a Quantity Surveyor by qualification, MRICS, MIArb is a must.
You will have acted in the capacity of Contract Manager and had responsibility for all contract and legal issues pertaining to large scale construction/ civil / infrastructure projects.
you will have 8+ years experience in the GCC and worked within the legal framework of the region.
Package for this role will be in the region of 60++ AED per month. Plus flights and insurances.
There is capacity to earn more as the office and role progresses.
