Job description / Role
My client is looking to recruit a Director of Country Operations to lead, implement and deliver the strategic business plans for the Venues department. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, your responsibilities will include visitor retention and acquisition for the companies exhibitions through marketing and promotions.
You will be responsible for overseeing and supervising all activities of strategic alliances and operations within Dubai, the market research unit and the Country Operations teams.
Your main accountabilities will include:
- formulating and implementing business plans in lieu with the overall company strategy
- set annual revenue targets and increase these targets
- business development
- research and marketing including pitching and campaigns
- develop proposals and contracts
- meet financial objectives
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following requirements:
- Minimum degree holder; MBA in Business is an advantage
- Minimum of 10 years experience in similar senior position for Convention/Visitor Bureau, Hospitality, Airlines, Management Company in respect of heading up the Sales and Marketing
- Computer literacy essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in operation of EBMS an advantage
- Report writing
- Communicate confidently
- Customer service oriented / Goal oriented
- Dynamic motivator
