Director – External Relations

Job description / Role

This role is for a Director External Relations and will be based in Abu Dhabi. The person will provide assistance to the Vice President on many matters regarding local protocols, Arabic-speaking media, and more.

Key Responsibilities to include:

• Represent the university in official functions and manage the Outreach of the university.
• Develop and understand proper protocols with media, VIPs and more.
• Represent the internal and external exhibitions, events, functions, etc.
• Advise the Vice President on public outreach, marketing, and related disciplines.

Requirements

• 10 + years of progressively senior responsibilities with PR and External Communications.
• Fluency in English and Arabic. Requires fluency in presentation skills, verbal and written, etc.
• UAE National would be highly preferred.
