Director - Finance Operations (Saudi National)

Job description / Role

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for running the day to day finance operations and investments of the business, as well as developing processes, systems and human capital. Your role is an integral part of the evolution of the business, and will also require you to perform the following:

- Manage the Finance Operations Team - consisting of treasury, accounts payable, purchasing and credit control, and ensuring they are adequately trained and developed.
- Develop and execute the investment strategy, as approved by the Board, and manage the Company's financial investments to maximise their return, whilst ensuring Sharia compliance and meeting SAMA solvency requirements.
- Lead the management of the credit operations to meet the department's objectives, and provide decision support to the Sales team for the purpose of sales growth and key account management.
- Develop a purchasing / cost management culture and further build the capability of the procurement and payables function including people, processes and authorisations.
- Establish and develop the relationships with key senior stakeholders across the business, and provide them a high level of business support, including the Sales team, Investment Committee and the Business Operations team.

Requirements

- Saudi Arabian Nationality (non-negotiable)
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Qualified CMA, CA, CPA is a plus
- Experience working as a Finance Director for a multinational organisation, preferably FMCG.
- Possesses strong technical accounting skills; including financial control, budgeting and credit control.
- Strong leadership and staff management skills.
- Experience in driving change and managing a business transformation
