Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The candidate will be working within Finance team and will be a professional with strong experience; primarily responsible to determine fraud management requirements; planning, implementing, and testing systems; preparing fraud management standards, policies, procedures and directing staff. To oversee the processes and cross-business activities to minimize the Fraud impact on business and related links, optimizing savings and continuously improving business and operational performance. Ensuring the Business Assurance Cycle(Prevention, Detection, Analysis & Response) is fulfilled and properly directed.

Duties & Responsibilities will entail:
- Utilise the FMS & bypass detection tool to identify, analyse and stop Telecom Fraud cases.
- Synergise and leverage related activities across regions that will lead to closing down bypass operators.
- Establish good understanding of ways of detecting possible bypass cases.
- Identify possible weaknesses in internal processes that could lead to Fraud - Review past bypass Fraud cases, analyse resolutions and identify possible trends.
- Advise change to business processes to proactively avoid Fraud scenarios.
- Analyse any identified Fraud cases, identify rectification actions and report feedback.
- Establish collaborative relationships with the Regions and ensure full consultation takes place.
- Analyse high usage processes in the Regions.
- Establish good understanding of required high usage classifications.
- Identify and specify new requirements and improvements to high usage reports.
- Promote and roll-out process enhancements in the Regions.
- Ensure appropriate reports are generated for roaming and on-net high usage, including reports that link high usage cases across services per customer.
- Create and analyse KPIs and OPIs.
- Ensure regular fraud activity reporting by regional coordinators and preparation of regular Management reports.
- Ability to communicate well with law enforcements.
- Responsible for maintaining, design and implementation of existing and new fraud detection tools.
- Provide and communicate management reports as required.
- Preparation & customisation of queries based on the changing pattern of fraud scenarios.
- Carry other assignments as directed by VP/RAFM on Ad hoc basis.
- Accomplishes fraud management human resource strategies by determining accountabilities; communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures; implementing recruitment, selection, orientation, training, coaching, counseling, disciplinary, and communication programs; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.
- Develops fraud management organizational strategies by contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to enterprise strategies.
- Directs fraud management operational strategies by analyzing trends; preparing critical fraud measurements; implementing production, productivity, quality.
- Plans fraud management systems by evaluating prevention, deterrent, detection, alert, profiling, and neural technologies; identifying risks, weaknesses, and suspicious activities; developing safeguard policies, procedures, and controls; preparing incident response and deterrent practices; adhering to industry standards.
- Validates fraud management systems by monitoring performance and fraud prevention measures; developing and implementing tests and audits; monitoring and ensuring compliance to standards, policies, and procedures; conducting incident response analyses; developing and conducting training programs.
- Upgrades fraud management systems; identifying gaps in protection; evaluating and implementing enhancements.
- Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging network security and fraud management practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements

- Degree in Business or Technology.
- Applicants with experience in Telecommunications Industry will be given an added advantage.
- 6-8 years experience in Developing Standards, Managing Processes, People Management, Decision Making, Process Improvement, Problem Solving.
