Employment: Full Time

The Infrastructure & Transportation industry group comprises of 27 bankers globally at the front end of Standard Chartered Bank's client franchise. As an investment banking sector coverage team, we aspire to be the leading trusted advisor and financier to our clients from the following segments:
* Aviation
* Logistics
* Power Generation / Clean Energy
* Shipping
* Technology / Media
* Telecommunications
* Transportation Infrastructure (Airports / Ports / Toll roads / etc.)
* Utilities

The team is uniquely positioned in its emerging market focus with local presence in Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, India and London.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
* Co-lead pitches and co-drive deal execution and deal meetings with confidence to achieve clients' objectives under the supervision of Executive Directors and Managing Directors
* Help refine new deal proposals / ideas for senior bankers
* Financial modelling, particularly for DCF and LBO transactions
* Sector and client research, particularly in terms of market and company comparable analysis
* Preparation and presentation of information memoranda, pitch books, presentations, prospectuses, fairness opinions (including valuation) and other forms of reports
* Prioritise and manage the expectations of senior bankers on deliverables
* Review and analyse financial and other information from multiple market data sources including Bloomberg, FactSet and Thomson Reuters
* Train and coach analysts vis-a-vis their deliverables whilst managing work allocation between the junior team
* Carry out transaction due diligences

Requirements

* Candidates should be able to demonstrate their suitability for this position based on previous accomplishments and experiences from previous corporate finance roles
* Preferred candidates should hold a Bachelors / Masters / MBA degree CPA / CFA qualifications are helpful
* Preferred experience in investment banking (Corporate Finance) from a top tier financial institution
* Highly motivated individuals with superior analytical aptitude, creative problem solving abilities and accounting skills
* Demonstrate the initiative to use ""down time"" to increase their knowledge of products or processes in the Bank
* Adherence to Standard Chartered Bank's corporate values

Key skills should include:
* Strong ability with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel Word and PowerPoint
* Generate prospectuses/ information memoranda/ investment teasers/ pitch books
* General industry/ country/ company research
* Ability to perform Discounted Cash Flow and other forms of valuation
* Excellent teamwork / inter-personal / communication skills
