Job description / Role
We are seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to manage and motivate a diverse team of sales and marketing executives. The role will have a clear marketing bias but also includes leadership of the sales teams.
The ideal candidate must primarily be a top class marketer with extensive marketing experience within Property/Real Estate. They should have the ability to lead by example and achieve challenging stretch goals. This role requires a proactive, motivated, organized, target-driven candidate who is able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented and entrepreneurial environment.
This position will report directly to the Managing Director and along with the other functional team leaders, they will be a key member of the team.
This is a key role that requires successful execution of the overall sales and marketing strategies. This individual will be tasked with working in alignment with the company's business strategy and corporate philosophy, while ensuring that the thought processes and action plans reflect the high quality standards demanded by the Managing Director and executed by the leadership team. The incumbent will lead the marketing and sales teams towards executing effective and strategic initiatives with a high degree of creativity.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will come from a strong marketing and sales background at a similar level out of a reputable real estate company but with a particular strength on the marketing side.
- Should have worked across multiple product lines to deliver on the Company's marketing and sales requirements.
- The candidate should ideally possess a degree in engineering (not essential), preferably Civil, and a post graduate degree or diploma in management, business administration or a similar discipline. A major in marketing from an institute or reputable university and a diploma from Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) will be considered an added qualification.
- The successful candidate should possess a minimum of 10 years management experience in sales and marketing.
- We are looking for candidates with relevant experience within the Middle East, preferably the UAE.
