Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

* Continue to grow the Capital Markets franchise, Debt Capital Markets (DCM)/Solutions business, with a focus on DCM - High Yield Product Group business in the West (all regions outside Asia). Ensure maximises cross-sell opportunities between Loans, Bonds and Derivatives and enhances the SCB brand
* Under supervision, lead all aspects of execution of DCM-High Yield mandates, take on certain origination responsibilities and have the attitude and aptitude to grow into a senior originator with time
* Continue development of DCM-HYPG platform by ensuring strong pipeline and new mandates. Work to build the SCB franchise into a leading franchise in the chosen core markets and with chosen client base
* Collaborate with Corporate & Institutional Clients (CIC) to deliver our client partners and clients. Strive to increase Return on RWA for clients with focus on CM client fee income

Key Roles and Responsibilities
* Contribute towards strategy for DCM HYPG, with a focus on all regions out West
* Tie in with overall client / industry strategy with CIC
* Product revenue & league table positions, market share
* Risk Management & Compliance
* Manage the product risks that arise from pricing and /or underwriting
* Ensure overall sanctity of Product program requirements at all times
* Pitch preparation - solutions approach for key transactions & key clients
* Negotiating & finalizing transaction documents in conjunction with DCM Legal
* Adhering to all the internal processes with regards to transaction approval
* Structuring , pricing, executing deals and obtaining all internal approvals for transactions
