Job description / Role
Our client is a world class hospitality organisation with internationally renowned brands in their portfolio and as part of their ongoing growth and expansion strategies, we are recruiting a Director International Taxation for a Doha based role.
Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of strategies and controls related to corporate tax for financing, restructuring business entities and mergers and acquisitions
- Ensuring that all SOX policies and procedures are adhered to and compliant with statutory requirements
- Responsible for income tax audits
- Management of tax related projects for new and acquired business entities and operations
- Ensuring that the organisations foreign operations are compliant with international tax requirements
- Management of external tax consultants
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Finance
- MBA is preferable
- 5 - 8 years experience of working in an international tax environment
- Strong analysis for due diligence and experience of mergers, acquisitions and post-merger integration
- Experience of working in the hospitality or professional or consulting firms related to hospitality and real estate
Candidate Profile
- Currently living in the GCC
- Fluent in English
- Confident and outgoing personality
