Director of Operations – ALMAHA Airways – Jeddah

The Director of Operations will be responsible for the planning, coordinating and monitoring the company's aircraft and flight test operations. The Director of Operations also manages the background checks, health reports and training requirements of all system wide company pilots and aircraft, oversees revision maintenance and makes sure that all flights are in compliance with FAA standards and regulations in order to support the strategic and business goals of Al Maha Airlines.
This position serves as the communication and coordination link between flight operations, the engineering team and all other departments in the company.

Requirements

Requirements:

* Bachelors Degree or equivalent
* Hold an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
* Has an understanding of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices, along with an understanding of the 14 CFR (Federal Aviation Regulations).
* Have at least 3 years supervisory or managerial experience within the last 6 years in a position that exercised operational control over any operations conducted with large airplanes under 14 CFR 121 or 135.
* In the case of a person with previous experience as a Director of Operations, have at least three (3) years of experience as Pilot-in-Command of a large airplane under 14 CFR 121 or 135.
* Persons holding this position for the first time ever, must have at least 3 years experience, within the past 6 years, as Pilot-in-Command of a large airplane operated under part 121, if the certificate holder operates large airplanes.
* 3000 hours pilot in command (PIC) airplane time; 500 hours of night experience; 200 hours of Instrument flight rules (IFR) experience
* Commercial rated multi-engine airplane plus at least seven (7) years experience in management which includes supervision, budgetary and safety
* Highly knowledgeable of the Operations Manual, FARs, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, etc., and other instructions pertinent to flight operations
* Have previous Management experience within a large airline.
