Director of Sales & Distribution - MENA

Our client is a global network of sports channels with headquarters across the Middle East, France, Indonesia and the US is currently undergoing significant executive talent growth given its formation in 2012. The firm currently operates and provides services across the Middle East, North Africa, France, USA, Indonesia, Canada, Hong Kong and Thailand. The Executive Team are now looking to recruit a Director of Sales & Distribution to their Commercial Affairs Division to coordinate editorial production and MENA product roadmap and delivery.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Commercial and managing a high performing team; this role is responsible for the following:
- Direct, lead and manage the advertising and sponsorship, CRM and Distribution Management departments.
- Development and monitoring of editorial benchmarking.
- Planning and coordination of editorial production.
- Implementation of editorial partnerships.
- Management and delivery of the MENA product roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Administration, Journalism or comparable with a minimum of 12 years experience in digital publishing.
- Qatari Nationals can only be considered for this nationalized role.
- The strong communicator we seek will be well organized, have a strong attention to detail, be a creative thinker and be able to create innovative editorial concepts.
- Candidates who have an in-depth understanding of the digital marketplace and online players in the MENA region will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge in content management systems, automating templates and data feed connectivity are essential.
- Candidates will strong knowledge of news and current affairs are desired.
