The RoleThe RoleIntegrated Logistics Services Attractive Salary package Based in Iraq Our client is a provider of integrated logistics and transport solutions in difficult environments and now wishes to employ a Director of Sales & Marketing to develop their business in Iraq. The main focus of this role is to develop a strong Logistics Services business offering a comprehensive range of integrated logistics solutions to Iraqi Ministries, Government and Humanitarian Organizations and Multi-national Companies operating in Iraq. Responsibilities Develop and implement a Commercial Strategic Plan for the Iraq market Aggressively grow the business to meet and exceed revenue targets through well planned Sales & Marketing activities and development of a strong commercial platform Identify, develop and maintain a strong network of clients in the Iraq market and responsible for all key client management Manage the Sales & Marketing Budget and Annual Business Plan - and responsible for all Commercial activities and bottom line results. |
RequirementsRequirements Knowledge of the Iraq commercial market is essential and should be supported by a good client network and industry contacts in relevant sectors Minimum 7 years experience in managing and leading a high volume Sales & Marketing Team with after sales support Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable success in Business Development and Solution Selling within Logistics & Freight Forwarding Effective Leadership abilities, a Team Player and a Problem Solver Good Financial Management skills Degree in Business / Marketing / Commerce (BA/BFA) or a Masters Degree in Marketing is a distinct advantage Professionals with Iraqi Nationality will be given priority in the selection process |
