Job description / Role
My client a prestigious Dubai based IT Consultancy is looking to hire a highly experienced Director of Software development / Head of Software development.
You will be a highly confident and motivational leader with over 12 years experience in IT. You will have come from a .NET / Java background and gained at least 5 years experience as a manager / head of a development team.
Requirements
Strong understanding of SDLC with expertise in managing highly critical projects. Solid understanding of SOA and use of Business Process Modeling.
Ideally experienced in either .NET or Java technologies and should be able to provide architectural guidance on both platforms, owning the solutions and application architecture in entirety
Maturity to understand the software development methodology to employ for each project based on the schedule, operational, and business requirements, i.e. whether Iterative, Agile etc.
