Job description / Role
Our client is a government entity looking to bring on board an experienced UAE National as their Director of Training. The role will supervise three direct subordinates and report directly to the Executive Director.
The main purpose of the role is to assess, develop, implement and coordinate various training solution programmes linked to the companies strategy. This will provide a variety of technical training related to assigned areas of responsibility.
Main responsibilities will include planning training solutions, business plans, action plans and budgets whilst reviewing the achievement of objectives using measured tools. You will be expected to confer with management and conduct surveys to external training programmes and expected training revenues as well as managing and developing training manuals along with other educational training material. You will also have autonomy for preparing training budgets and evaluate performance and effectiveness of designated programmes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you should be a UAE National educated to Degree level with an excellent knowledge of Dubai HR law and regulations.
A minimum of six years work experience is required within the training field, coupled with knowledge of the principles and methods for curriculum and training design.
