Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Reporting to the Area Sales Manager in this is a Distributor Relationship Manager position, based in Qatar working within the sales department and responsible for:
- Sales forecasting: on a weekly basis monitor market trends, weekly distributor activity plans and the supply chain situation.
- Developing and maintaining a working relationship with the distributor and having their respect and trust to ensure a close and influential relationship within all levels of the distributors team.
- The Distributor Relationship Manager will manage the day to day negotiating with the distributor.
- Sales planning / implementation.
- Distributor margin and trade spend management.
- Trade presentations: develop trade presentation for both key accounts and wholesalers by working closely with both FTL sales and marketing departments for all key trade activities throughout the year.

Requirements

The Distributor Relationship Manager will posses the following attributes:
- A formal University Degree of a relevant discipline from a recognised institution.
- Extensive experience, with direct experience in the FMGC industry (4-8 years experience).
- Bilingual - read, write speak - Arabic & English Modern Trade experience.
- Experience in managing a key distributor partnership.
- Excellent local market knowledge is required.
