The RoleThe RoleJob Title: District Manager Reports to job title: Executive Director for Branch Sales Network Purpose of the Job (Brief Overview): The District Sales Manager is responsible for leading sales activities, driving sales results, cultivating new sales opportunities and managing & motivating the sales staff. Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities: • Managing all branches in his district and ensuring they achieve their sales targets. • To drive and support the branch offices, through branch managers/staff to achieve the insurance sales premiums/profits, renewals/persistency and yield plans of the company. • To ensure that all branch staff in his district does the required insurance sales training. • Developing the business through increased distribution and improved promotion and implementing the sales strategy. • Seeks out new sales opportunities and initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the Company. • To manage all aspects of sales within the district and provide support to corporate segment when needed. • Conduct periodic reviews with his staff on sales. Authority: Full authority at district level |
RequirementsRequirementsProfessional • Minimum 7 years experience in sales and marketing, 3 of which in similar position • An excellent communicator and negotiator with good business analysis skills • Confident, articulate, resilient and self-motivated • Professional background as a sales manager in motivating sales team and management skills Academic • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or sales or management • Insurance certificate is an added advantage |
