Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Salary: AED 25,000 - 26,000

A high end, luxury retail group is keen to hire a Divisional Marketing Operations Manager to develop, plan and ensure execution of marketing strategy, marketing campaigns, promotions and events for the allocated Business Portfolio in full alignment with the policies and procedures of the company and the Brand / Principals guidelines.

The successful candidate will:
- Participate in the development of the Marketing Strategy for the Business Unit, ensuring that the it is in line with the Principals overall strategic direction.
- Participate, as and when required, in the development of a policies and procedures framework for the Marketing function to effectively meet its objectives and targets, in line with the overall strategy and direction of the Group.
- Review and report, to the General Manager Marketing, the effectiveness of such policies and procedures, to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Provide input on the functions budget requirements to the General Manager Marketing, and accordingly control expenses of the function, ensuring it stays within its operating budget.
- Develop and implement the marketing and promotional plan and campaigns for the BP in close coordination with the BU.

- Develop and execute tactical initiatives across all marketing functions, throughout and across the BP according to the specific and identified needs of the BU.
- Evaluate and recommend the most suitable partnerships / association to be utilized for the Brand / planned marketing initiatives.
- Develop and execute qualitative and quantitative research, using external agencies or in-house resources, as required, across all or selective Brands within the BP.
- Liaise with individual Principals on the identification of marketing campaigns, marketing execution, event concepts, layouts, advertisements and oversee the production of marketing collateral.
- Interpret and Map competitors activities vis a vis communication, pricing, packaging and planning in relation to allocated brand strategy.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant Principal requirements and guidelines, ensuring that all the respective brands within the BU apply and adhere to the guidelines across all managed marketing activities.
- Maintain coordination with the Buying Team to ensure full awareness of forthcoming collections / styles and BP opportunities.
- Monitor overall performance of the Brands within the product category and work closely with BU to facilitate sales, recommend direction and aid decision-making by the BU management.
- Ensure that a full archiving system is established and maintained, for all executed elements in the marketing calendar.
- Maintain relevant mall relationships to ensure execution of local store activity on the marketing calendar.
- Handle third party negotiation, contract management and validation for relevant marketing activities within the BP.

Requirements

- Must have a good command of English. Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
- Should be able to communicate effectively and have excellent negotiation skills.
- Should be able to lead and motivate teams.
- Should be Computer literate in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years experience in Senior Management role working with / for brand conscious organizations in a relevant retail industry.
- Graduate or Post Graduate Degree, preferably in the field of Business, Marketing Management or Mass Communications.
