Divisional Finance Director

Job description / Role

Reporting to the Divisional Managing Director, and Group CFO, you will lead the finance and administrative support services for the Division. As a member of the Senior Management Team you will be required to contribute to the strategy and leadership of the business as well as managing the finance operations and resource planning for the business. Your role also requires you to perform the following tasks:

- Prepare accurate and compliant financial reports, and ensure effective financial controls are in place,
- Prepare timely management reports and supporting analysis, to assist in the management and future decision making of the company,
- Lead the planning and budgeting process, and advise senior stakeholders on critical financial matters impacting on the business,
- Ensure all commercial and supplier contracts are well structured and reviewed in accordance with legal advisors,
- Oversee the administrative function and ensure an efficient and safe working environment is supporting the entire business,
- Work closely with external partners and government agencies, ensuring strong relationships are maintained.
- Plus other tasks or responsibilities that fall under your responsibility

Requirements

Our client is looking for an experienced candidate, that meets the following requirements:

- Membership in a recognized professional accounting body (CPA, CMA, ACCA)
- Previous financial leadership experience, ideally in a multinational organisation in Saudi Arabia
- Strong technical and commercial accounting knowledge as well as Tax and Zakat
- Significant staff management experience and the ability to lead and develop a team
- Strong communication skills and the ability to perform strategic finance presentations to the senior management team.
