FAMCO is recruiting a Divisional Manager to head up the Power and Industrial Products Division. The purpose of this role is to provide full P&L responsibility for all business activities relating to Power & Industrial Products, including Units, Parts & Service operations.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will drive the sales and marketing function for a range of engineered products including large air compressors, diesel generators and marine diesel engines. Responsibilities will also include the management of related service and parts operations plus support functions, such as Application Engineering. There will be significant exposure within the following areas:

* Main operational contact with Principals, namely Yanmar, Ingersoll Rand and Himoinsa.
* Build market intelligence, develop and implement marketing plans to exploit opportunities to gain market share, increase revenues and profitability of brand operations in the UAE.
* Lead, control and motivate the Power & Industrial Products sales and after sales operational teams in the UAE, ensuring budgeted sales, gross margins, and net contribution for Units, Parts and Service for the respective franchises are achieved.
* To seek distribution agreements for additional territories either with existing or new brands.
* Project Management
* Achieve and maintain standards at all sales locations under control 
* Achieve CSI targets at all locations
* Cost controlling

Requirements

*
Strong leadership, strategic planning, communications, negotiation, mentoring and management skills

* 8-10 years experience at senior level in Sales & Marketing of Industrial Equipment
* Minimum 5 years experience working with compressed air solutions / diesel generators / marine engines
* Diploma, degree in Business Administration / Marketing, or associated subject
* Full knowledge of MS Office products, especially Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
* Able to demonstrate leadership, planning and organisational skills
* Competent in understanding modern machinery construction methods and to linking features with benefits
* Competent in analysing market situations and in taking correct decisions regarding quantity to be ordered, model mix and pricing
