Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Develop sales strategies to accomplish the business plans by exploring new market segments,
prestigious projects while motivating and guiding sales personnel.
- Identify & implement process improvement initiatives aimed at manufacturing of quality products as per International standards with controlled manufacturing cost, thus enhance efficiency in the business operations.
- Develop and manage company financials through short term and long terms business goals with appropriate performance measurement parameters for continued growth of the business.
- Devise & implement plans to optimize available resources; evaluate proposals for business expansions and develop new avenues for revenue generation.
- Understand, analyze information on customer expectation and competitor performances to design and introduce new products
- Asses performance of existing products and strategize the product segments to meet future requirements of business.
- Continuously explore / seek new opportunities for better efficiency and higher customer satisfaction.
- Manage the testing labs to support all work in progress and finished products to conform to various standards as required.
- Ensure the functions follows the established guidelines & delegation of authority; build professional work environment.
- To ensure efficient management of inventory and warehouse operations.
- Ensure a safe work environment with compliance to all statutory requirements of the law. Focus on companys Quality processes.
- Coordinate with shared services of Head office on business requirements

Requirements

- Engineering Degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical/ industrial etc.
- Post Graduate Degree in Management or Operations Management will be an added advantage.
- 15 years experience in a leadership position in foundry operations preferably in casting valves.
- Excellent know how on technical aspects and managing foundry business as a profit centre head.
- Ability to manage people in a large-scale operational setting
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to analyze financial data.
- Highly analytical with problem solving skills.
- Leadership skills with strong orientation to tasks and result orientation.
- Strong interpersonal orientation with communication and presentation skills
