Job description / Role
We are seeking hard working, motivated medical professionals experienced in general practice and aviation medicine to provide high quality, cost effective primary care to Emirates staff members and aviation medicine services to the pilot and cabin crew group and other departments within Emirates.
In this role you will be required to manage the external secondary and tertiary referral process within the guidelines of the company insurance scheme.
Requirements
Degree or Honours (12+6 or equivalent) MBChB, MBBS, MD, or the equivalent medical degree from an accredited university medical school, as well as completion of vocational training in general practice is essential.
Current medical registration with a recognised medical board or council is required along with qualifications and minimum experience acceptable to the DHA for registration and licensing.
An additional diploma in Aviation Medicine is required.
A fellowship or membership to one of the Royal Colleges or equivalent is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in general practice is required.
Previous experience working in an aviation medicine environment is essential.
